A look into the life and understanding of a gamer who has left his mother's basement

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Classification:
MMO/freeroam/RPG

Description:
Star Wars itself needs no introduction. A few years back there was a game called SW: Knights of the old republic which took place a millenia before the movies. I never really played it so I can only say that old republic takes place soon after.
Imagine the Star Wars galaxy. Vast spatially and culturally. Now imagine being able to explore many of the famous planets either working for the Empire or the Republic. You can follow the story and fight for you cause, hunt down your enemies, take it easy exploring and finding the galaxies hidden treasures, or all of the above. It has amazing graphics by an MMO's standard, it is fully voiced, which has never been done by an MMO before, and the combat is unique and interesting. Not to mention it is Star Wars. This combination is enough to get anyone hooked.

Take your blaster or lightsaber, hone your aim and force powers and prepare for the epic adventure. This blog can't do it justice. Just watch this to get an idea.

I personally already love Star Wars, and videos games. The two have come together in a way that I can live as if I were really in their world. That's what MMO's do, substitute reality. I am more than willingly going to give a portion of my life to Star Wars.

Oh and if you are curious, my main character is a Sith Inquisitor.
