A look into the life and understanding of a gamer who has left his mother's basement

StarCraft 2

--Under construction--

Classification:
RTS

Brief History:
StarCraft was released in 1998 and was a huge hit! Soon after the expansion, Brood War, followed. It was so good people continued playing it, waiting for the sequel, for over a decade!
My friends and would have a LAN party at my house every Friday to play Brood War. It was great.
In 2010 StarCraft 2 was finally released.

Description:
The game is played looking down over the battlefield. You control your units, gather reasorces, build buildings and units, and attack the enemy.
There are 3 races.

Terran: Humans of the future, adaptable and balanced. From the heavy siege tank to the stealthy ghost, they use technology and the human spirit as their weapon.

Zerg: Animalistic aliens. Fast and numerous, the Zerg are a brutal and terrifying race. They use their teeth, claws, and toxins as their weapon.

Protoss: Advanced aliens. Costly and powerful, the Protoss are a technologically superior race. They use their zealotry and advanced technology as their weapons.

Properly juggling micro and macro management are really important in StarCraft 2. Macro, gaining a stong economy and foothold are essential. But anybody can build units. Where the experts shine is the micro. Countering the enemies units and utilizing the terrain and your units strengths and abilities are a real game changer. An oponent that micro's well can overcome the enemy even against insurmountable odds.

In the original StarCraft my favorite was the Zerg. But now my favorite race to play is random. I like them all and like to shake it up.
